In February 2026, Howag completed one major investment stage, namely – the opening of a new production facility.
In addition to investing in the portfolio of buildings, the company is also working on the digitalization of work processes.
The first step in this direction was the purchase of electronic devices (tablets) and the gradual limitation of processes related to printing on paper.
The use of electronic devices to visualize work instructions and production documents leads to an increase in the quality of understanding, learning, and manufacturing of products. It also improves the workspace, helps protect the environment, and reduces costs by limiting the use of paper, toner, setup time, recycling time, etc.
In essence, the devices provide access to all necessary information: both the directly required data for production processes, and also other documents related to general working conditions and internal labour regulations.
