As of 12.08.2025 Howag Ltd. – Bulgaria is licensed to export and import products for the defense industry.
The company now owns a five-year license for export of components for defence products in the European Union, and a one-year license for export outside of the European Union.
The licenses will allow Howag Bulgaria to expand its customer reach, and to produce and export products for the defense industry.
The cable company has met all requirements necessary to obtain the license, in full accordance with the Law of Export control for products used in defence.
Several potential customers with declared interest are already in contact with Howag.
