The Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce (BSCC) continued the already established tradition of organizing its Annual Partnership Forum. The forum stimulates the networking and business relations between Bulgarian and Swiss companies. It has become a traditional annual meeting of BSCC members and non-member partners where each company can present useful practices, exchange experiences, build partnerships and establish contacts.
The main objective of this year’s forum was to present innovative management practices of Swiss companies in Bulgaria, promoting Swiss values in business relations.
Howag Bulgaria, a BSCC member, was proud to host the event on its own premises in Targovishte. Amongst the participants were many local companies and institutions. The Mayor of Targovishte, d-r Darin Dimitrov, met with His Excellency, the ambassador of the Swiss Confederation, Mr. Raymund Furrer, and his wife, and later attended the event.
His Excellency delivered the opening speech, followed by Mr. Eugen Peterhans, member of Howag’s board of directors and group CEO, and Mr. Boni Bonev, chairman of the BSCC Managing board.
The representatives of Howag shared some of the company’s innovative leadership practices with the rest of the participants, who were later also invited to see the factory and learn about production and process management.
Mrs. Radka Boneva, managing director of Howag Bulgaria, and Mr. Vasil Radoynovski, head of the BSCC Secretariat, delivered the closing speeches. The event ended with a cocktail at Howag, positive mood, and promises of continued partnerships.
