Howag Bulgaria with new equipment – Schunk Minic III

Howag EOOD has put into operation a brand-new ultrasonic welding machine Schunk Minic III. This is the second machine of this type in the factory.

The machine is an ultrasonic system for welding of copper wires. It can do welding on copper and aluminium wires with total thickness of 0.26-30mm2 without the need for changing tools or cylinder. If a change is required, it can be done in less than five minutes.

The machine is equipped with an integrated ID-chip for module-related data storage, and it is designed entirely in accordance with the CE directive.

Howag has plenty of trained operators who can operate this machine. The machine is part of project “Technological modernization of “Howag” EOOD”, and has been running since October 2023.
