Mr. Oliver Bertschinger, President and Managing Director of the CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SWITZERLAND CENTRAL EUROPE (SEC) visited Howag Kabel AG in the town of Dintikon, in May.
During their meeting, Mr. Bertschinger and the Senior Management of Howag intensively analysed and discussed current and future assumptions on a geostrategic level.
Despite the well-known risks – or maybe because of them – there are good perspectives for Swiss companies having own entities or partners in the CEE region.
After the meeting, an extensive plant tour took place which showed live in the assembly halls what the core business of Howag is.
SEC (https://cee.swiss) offers broad support for companies and institutions with intention for, or already established, business in the CEE region. SEC also supports CEE companies interested in the Swiss market.
Mr. Bertschinger was impressed with the products, processes and outstanding level of quality. “The international structure of Howag, their attention to quality and their strategy are impressive and represent a great example of what an SME at top level can achieve!”
